Dr. Jean Baptiste Mugabe, PhD is a distinguished Consultant, Academician, Researcher, leader, and Entrepreneur with extensive knowledge and skills in Business Law, Management and administration. He also taught Business Law, Strategic Human Resource, Marketing Management, Research Methods, and Fundamentals of Development Studies at KIM University.

Dr. Mugabe’s career in Academics kicked off at INES RUHENGERI, Northern Province in 2011, immediately after Completion of his Master’s degree when he was appointed as a Teaching Assistant.
In addition, he has over 11 years of successful experience in guiding and mentoring students towards educational achievements and deep interest in Business Management pursuits gained from his years in University as an assistant lecturer, lecturer and senior Lecturer. Dr. Mugabe has also taught Communication Skills, Protecting Intellectual Property, Labor Law, Human Resource Management and Principles of Management at Community Integrated Polytechnic (CIP) before completion of his PhD degree, he taught Principles of Management and Human Resource Management at East African University-Rwanda.
His responsibilities as Senior Lecturer include:
- Lecturer Planning, preparation and research
- Invigilating examinations
- Contact and teaching time with students
- Supervising both Masters and undergraduate students as they undertake their research projects.
- Checking and assessing students both Masters and Undergraduate, Etc…
- Attending and speaking at conferences and seminars
He is a passionate and skill full researcher, academician, consultant and he wrote a book entitled: ‘’THE SECRETS OF BUSINESS SUCCESS’’, A guide for young generation to achieve success.
He holds a Bachelors degree of Laws from Mwaro University, Burundi, a Bachelor degree in Sociology from Annamalai University, India, A Master’s degree in Education Management, a Master’s degree of Arts in Public Administration and Management, KIU, Uganda and a PhD in Public Administration from Annamalai University, India. He holds other post graduate certificates and diploma in different disciplines from across the global.

Dr. Jean Baptiste Mugabe is Legal Representative and founder of CLEVERLAND TSS and also active member of Economic Policy Research Network (EPRN), Forum d’Echanges pour la cohesion sociale (FECS) and many other non-profit organizations in Rwanda.
